Last newsletter I wrote you about letting others help and support you! Did you get a chance to take time to ask for support in areas that you need the most? I wanted to check in with you because I know sometimes it is hard to ask for the help we need. Perhaps you could use some tips on how to make sure you ask for help more often!
Tip 1 – Consider giving a new meaning to asking for help!
Example of new meaning: “Asking for help equals an opportunity to feel loved and important while allowing others to feel important and helpful”
Tip 2 – Identify any blocks you have about asking for help!
Example of a possible block: Asking for help equals weakness
*If this is something you find yourself thinking is truthful – don’t forgot to Ho’oponopono about any of your negative beliefs, feelings and blocks^^
Tip 3 – Commit to taking a new action this week such as allowing someone who has been offering you help – allow them to help you!
Here are three Action Steps you can take:
- Decide who is most trustworthy and share with them how you are practicing getting better at asking for help
- Commit to asking three people for support and help in the next 5 days
- Be more supportive, loving and patient with yourself
Areas to think about asking for help: a project that is overwhelming you, feedback on a decision you need to make, reaching a goal, seeing yourself clearly, brainstorming your bigger, better and brighter future, supporting you with a big goal like losing weight, or making more money, or being more open to intimacy.
Have a wonderfully supported week and know you are loved and adored!
Much Healing, Light and Love
